When Major Patrick Gillard resigns from D12, a secret undercover unit of MI5, his wife Ingrid Langley also resigns as an agent to turn her attention to writing. But at the launch of her latest crime novel, a horrific discovery sets Ingrid and Patrick on the trail of violent death, deception, and conspiracy in high places.
